After an enjoyable weekend at the Salis Hotel & Medical Spa, I've found a hidden gem in Turda which I think suits both weary travelers and families alike. The convenience of being just a short walk from the less-crowded entrance to Turda Saline was a significant plus, especially when dodging the rainy weather! Our spacious room was clean and equipped with a flat-screen TV, soundproofing, and a comfy bed that even my kids appreciated for an extra snug movie night. The hotel's breakfast buffet was varied and scrumptious, truly setting the tone for our days-especially with the panoramic view from the restaurant on the top floor! We made great use of the spa area, enjoying the sauna and hot salt water tubs. While we did figure out the sauna setup ourselves, it just added a memorable touch to our adventure. Plus, the kids absolutely loved the pools, and I even sneaked in some relaxation with the soothing massages offered after our explorations. If you're in the area, definitely consider Salis Hotel for its comfort-to-value ratio; it's a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience that keeps us coming back!
